I’m Eric Adolph and I am a Strength & Conditioning Coach at South Dakota State University. FCA has been a big part of my experience since arriving at SDSU in 2009. 

Our weekly coaches huddle Wednesdays at noon has been an awesome time of fellowship and personal growth for me providing the opportunity to listen to and learn from the wisdom of coaches that truly lead from a position of Christ-centered faith. Along with that, I’ve been fortunate to experience some incredible opportunities including a mission trip to Haiti led by TJ Carlson and several SDSU Student-Athletes. During our time there we teamed up with Samaritans Feet and were able to serve several people by washing feet and delivering shoes to those who needed them, going to orphanages to play with kids and supply them with food while also spending quality time with our group diving into the word and having some of the most life changing worship nights you could imagine! 

I’ve also been able to speak at a few events such as the Jackrabbit FCA meetings and the FCA Leadership Camp in St. Paul. While I hope I’ve been able to share my faith and encourage others, I feel like those experiences are almost always more impactful on me as they’ve allowed me to truly reflect on where I’m at in my walk with Jesus and where I have grown and can continue to grow in that relationship. 

I’m so thankful for FCA and look forward to continuing to grow through the experiences it provides!
