Bike Rodeo

Think of the "Rodeo" almost like a carnival.  Kid's will go through 12 fun and educational stations with their bikes.  Most stations will be a fun cycling game or competition, designed to help the rider develop bike handling skills.  The others will be focused on education and bike safety.  There is no age limit to participate, but the stations will target approximate ages 4-14.

Bike Races

We'll have a race course set-up on the lawn with age-appropriate race distances and features.  We'll have races for the following age categories*:

  • 4 and under (strider bike)
  • 5-7
  • 8-10
  • 11-13
  • 14-18
  • Kids vs. Parents

Races will be non-timed and non-scored.  All youth racers will receive a race number for their bike, finishers medal, and entry into the bike drawings.  All racers must wear a helmet, and a parent/guardian must be present to register.

*Subject to change depending on racer numbers.

Lunch

We'll be hosting a free lunch for all participants following the Rodeo and Races.  After the lunch, we'll also be giving away a few kid's bikes.  Those who have completed the Rodeo and/or Raced will be entered in the drawing (max 2 entrants per kid) and you must be present to win.
