FCA Flag Football is a faith-based,

christ-centered youth football program.

 Season: April 20th - May 11th 2024 (4 weeks)

Games: Saturday Mornings 9:00am or 11:00am
 at Riverdale Park
*Locations, Dates, and Game Times subject to change based on Registration*

Who: Boys and girls ages Kindergarten - 6th Grade 
(current Spring 2024 grade)

Registration Cost: $129
Registration Deadline: March 22, 2024.
*$50 late fee for accepted waitlist registrations after the deadline

Equipment needed : Cleats mandatory / mouthguard optional
*All other equipment is provided

Those who played Fall 2023 flag football will have an existing account through the registration button. Please login to SportsConnect with your username and password and register for the Spring 2024 league.


Those who are new to FCA flag football in Spring 2024 will need to create an account.

FAQs

  • How are teams formed?

    For Spring Flag Football, you may form your own team with friends or classmates from any school or community.


    To form your own team, you will need to provide a coach or co-coach. Athletes register individually, and your coach will submit his/her roster to FCA.


    If you are an individual sign-up without a team, we will do our best to assign you to a team with other players from your school or community if possible.

  • Can players request to be on a team or with a certain player?

    Due to the large number of players in FCA flag football leagues we are unable to accomodate individual player requests. Players willl be placed on teams based on grade, school, and number of participants in each division. 


    *Please refer to the below question on coach roster requests. If you would like to make a request, first identify a Head Coach and have them follow the instructions. 

  • Can coaches request players?

    Head coaches can request players to be on their team roster through March 15th, 2024. After this date no requests will be accepted. Even if a request is made by coaches, placement of players is NOT guaranteed. 


    Coaches are responsible for ensuring requested players are registered no later than March 15th. Any players who do not register by this deadline will not be considered.


    Head Coaches ONLY, please email requests with player's full names and grades to bhansen@fca.org.


    PLEASE NOTE: FCA Flag Football follows an 8 on 8 format, with a max of 10 players per team. If you have less than 10 players, your roster will be filled with individual sign-up athletes.

  • When will rosters be finalized?

    Rosters will be finalized by April 8th, 2024. Rosters will only be sent to Coaches. It will be the coaches responsibilty to reach out to players on their roster with team details.

  • What if I missed the registration deadline?

    Those who missed the registration deadline can register to be on the waitlist if spots are still available. 


    Those placed on the waitlist will only be added to a roster if space allows. Those on the waitlist will be notified of their status by April 8th.


    If you are accepted off the waitlist you will receive an email confirmation with instructions for payment. 


    *There is a $50 late registration fee for those accepted off the waitlist. 

  • Do you have scholarships?

    Yes, please send your scholarship request to southdakotafca@fca.org. A decision will be made and instructions will be sent to your email.

  • What is the refund policy?

    Refunds will only be issued to those who present reasonable medical exemption. 


    Check your schedule for any conflicts before registering as we will not award refunds for schedule changes.
