Our hope is that FCA Wrestling training is as customizable for you and your family as possible. If you register for two trainings per week, you have the flexibility to choose which nights work best for your athlete to attend between Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday afternoon.
Is your athlete involved in fall sports that conflict with the FCA Wrestling schedule? No worries. You can still register for the full season at a discounted rate if you know your start date will be delayed!
Contact Matt Dykstra at mdykstra@fca.org for more information on customizing your start date.
FCA Wrestling will be led by a group of experienced coaches who will bring high-level training and development to athletes of all ages and experiences.
Our four lead coaches are: Toby Bryant, Chance Stoeser, Adam Presler and Craig Presler.
Our assistant coaches are comprised of current collegiate wrestling athletes from both Augustana University and the University of Sioux Falls.
FCA Wreslting is excited to offer challenging skill development to athletes of ALL levels. If your athlete has never wrestled before, this is a safe place for them to learn the foundational principles of the sport within a Christ-centered atmosphere.
If your athlete has been wrestling for years and is ready for some intentional investment with highly qualified coaches, this is the place for them as well!
Our coach to athlete ratio provides ample opportunity for athletes to be poured into by coaches, and we will work to ensure they are paired with training partners who are at their level to provide a positive experience for all involved!
If your athlete is trying wrestling for the first time, we know it's not realistic to expect you to have all of the right equipment.
Start out by having them wear athletic apparel and any type of athletic shoe or sneaker. Once your athlete has a chance to try things out and develop a passion for the sport, we would encourage you to invest in some wrestling shoes!
Avoid setting your athlete up for failure by wearing loose-fitting or non-athletic shoes.
Scholarships are available! Please reach out to Matt Dykstra at mdykstra@fca.org for more information.
