K-6 Developmental League
3-6 Competitive League
FCA Flag Football is a faith-based, Christ-centered youth football program.
FCA has branched 3rd-6th grade flag football into two leagues; Developmental and Competitive.
Both leagues will take place on the same scheduled days with competitive teams playing in the competitive bracket. To register for the Competitive League, athletes MUST be on a roster submitted by a Competitive League coach.
Developmental League
Who: Boys and girls ages Kindergarten - 6th Grade (Fall 2025 grade)
Season: 6 week season*
- K-1-2 Games: Saturday, September 6th- October 11th
- 3-6 Games: Thursday, September 4th, with remaining games played Monday nights until October 6th.
*Practices will be scheduled by team coach
Games:
- Played at Riverdale Park or Lincoln High School
Early Bird Cost: $179*
- *After July 4th, 2025, cost is $210. Registration will close on July 31st, 2025.
Equipment needed:
- Cleats mandatory/mouthguard optional
*All other equipment is provided
The developmental league will focus on developing basic skills, improving self-esteem, and learning the foundations of football.
Those who played Fall '24 or Spring '25 flag football will have an existing account through the registration button. Please login to SportsConnect with your username and password and register for the Spring 2025 league.
Those who are new to FCA flag football in Fall 2025 will need to create an account.
Competitive League
Who: Boys and girls ages 3rd - 6th Grade (Fall 2025 grade)
Season: 6 week season*
- Kick off: Thursday, September 4th, with remaining games played Monday nights until October 6th.
*Practices will be scheduled by team coach
Games:
- Played at Riverdale Park or Lincoln High School
- September 4th, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, October 6th
Early Bird Cost: $179*
- *After July 4th, 2025, cost is $210. Registration will close on July 31st, 2025.

How are teams chosen?
Teams are chosen based on grade, school, and number of players registered for each division.
Can players request to be on a team with their friends?
Due to the large number of players in FCA flag football leagues we are unable to accommodate individual player requests. Players willl be placed on teams based on grade, school, and number of participants in each division.

Can coaches request players?
Competitive League head coaches, please complete the Roster Request form above!
Requests can be submitted up to July 4th. After this date no requests will be accepted. Even if a request is made by coaches, placement of players is NOT guaranteed.
Coaches are responsible for ensuring players are registered no later than July 31st. Any players who do not register by this deadline will not be considered.
When will rosters be finalized?
Rosters will be finalized mid-August. Rosters will only be sent to Coaches. It will be the coaches responsibilty to reach out to players on their roster with team details.

What if I missed registration?
Those who missed the registration deadline can register to be on the waitlist if spots are still available.
Those placed on the waitlist will only be added to a roster if space allows. Those on the waitlist will be notified of their status by mid-August.If you are accepted off the waitlist you will receive an email confirmation with instructions for payment.
Coaches submitting a roster are responsible for ensuring players are registered no later than July 31st. Any players who do not register by this deadline will not be considered.
Is there a refund policy?
Refunds will only be issued to those who present reasonable medical exemption.
Check your schedule for any conflicts before registering as we will not award refunds for schedule changes.
When is the Coaches Meeting?
Coach meeting times are TBD and will be sent out via email.
What is the difference between Developmental & Competitive Leagues?
The Developmental League will focus on developing basic skills, improving self-esteem and learning the foundations of football. Boys & girls grades K-6 are welcome to register for Developmental League!
The Competitive League will focus on higher level techniques, and develop players to compete at a higher-level of competition. To register for the Competitive League, athletes must be on a roster submitted by a Competitive League coach. If you wish to participate in this league but do not already have a team, you will be placed on a Developmental team unless there are openings to join a Competitive team.
