Summer Camp

At BUILT, we believe faith and athletics go hand in hand. We provide meaningful opportunities for children to engage in prayer, devotionals, and worship while developing their skills through sports. Our focus is on building a lasting foundation of faith that shapes character, teamwork, and personal growth on and off the field.

FAQ:

  • Does my child have to attend all 9 weeks?

    No! We do ask that students attend a minimum of two weeks of BUILT Camp.  BUILT is designed to offer flexiblity for families. You get to pick and choose which weeks work best for you! If it only works for your family to attend one week of camp, please email Alison: ahaas@fca.org 

  • What is the cost?

    BUILT is $185/week. Camp runs Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. 

    There is a sibling discount for families with multiple children. 

    If children are attending during the same week, there will be a $20 discount for your second child and a $40 discount for your third child.

    • Child #1: $185
    • Child #2: $165
    • Child #3: $145

    There is a $370 deposit required to register, which goes towards tuition. If your child is attending more than two weeks, weekly payment is required after the first two weeks.


    Weekly field trips are OPTIONAL and are an additional cost. If your child is attending 7+ weeks, there is an option to pay in full, which includes field trip fees. 


    Weekly swimming will require a Sioux Falls Public Pool pass, or entry fee. 

  • Can I switch my weeks?

    Yes! The weeks registered for are not "set in stone," we do offer flexiblity! BUILT Camp Staff asks that you communicate any changes ASAP for planning purposes.

  • Who is running camp?

    Our BUILT Director is Drew Reinschmidt. 


    Drew has spent the past 6 years in education and coaching, investing in students both in and out of the classroom. A true sports enthusiast, he brings a broad range of knowledge across many different sports, which helps him connect with and inspire the kids he leads.

    Drew also coaches football and is a dedicated husband and father. At the center of everything he does is his faith; he loves Jesus and is passionate about helping kids discover their full potential, not just academically, but in athletics and in their walk with Christ. Outside of work, Drew enjoys the outdoors and spends his free time hunting and fishing.

  • Is lunch provided?

    Parents will be responsible for sending a lunch with campers each day. There will be a microwave available for heating up lunches.

    A morning and afternoon snack will be provided.

  • Do you have scholarships?

    At this time, we do not have scholarships available. If you need to work on a payment plan, please email Alison: ahaas@fca.org 


  • What does a typical day look like at BUILT?

    • Group meeting/devo/worship 10:00-10:30 AM
    • Sport of the Week 10:30-11:30 AM
    • Lunch/DEAR (drop everything and read) 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
    • Organized Games/Park/Crafts/Field Trips 12:30-2:00 PM
    • Academics/Free games 2:00-4:00 PM
